Being named a four-time Academic All-MAC team member, while earning a B.B.A. and an MBA, is not a typical career path, but Zach Novoselsky isn’t your ordinary business professional. After a football career at Western Michigan University, Novoselsky scored a touchdown when he founded several businesses and initiatives following graduation.

Days after receiving his diploma, Novoselsky founded Athletes Beyond Campus, an organization that connects athletes who have recently graduated from college to kids in the community for training and mentorship opportunities—thousands of athletes have been trained through hundreds of sessions to date. He then started Novoselsky Media in 2020, a social media management company that handles marketing for businesses in the Midwest.

In his most recent endeavor, Novoselsky drew upon his own experiences as a student-athlete to inspire the creation of BuzzU. This subscription-based sports technology corporation is revolutionizing the name, image and likeness industry by equipping colleges with the data and tools needed to empower their student-athletes.

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Novoselsky generously shares his expertise with the academic community. He has frequently visited Â鶹ÉçHaworth to mentor students and guest lecture in courses.
