Counselor Education - MA
The orientation session for newly admitted Counselor Education students (Clinical Mental Health; College; Marriage, Couple and Family; and School Counseling) is now available online. Students must complete this online version; there is no longer a face to face orientation session for Counselor Education students.
Shortly after students have been admitted to the program, they will be able to access the online orientation by logging into the Go麻豆社system, clicking on the e-learning tab, and following the instructions for the online orientation session. Students will complete a series of modules and quizzes. You must complete each quiz with a grade of 100% in order to proceed to the next section of the orientation. However, you may complete each section as many times as necessary to obtain the 100%. You may complete the session in one sitting or come back to it as many times as needed to satisfactorily complete the orientation. You should complete the orientation session within the first semester after admission.
Counseling Psychology - MA
Welcome to the Master鈥檚 Program in Counseling Psychology! Newly admitted Counseling Psychology students are expected to complete the program-specific online orientation as soon as possible after admission and at least by the end of their first semester of registration. This orientation provides valuable information to help you navigate your way through our Counseling Psychology program. To access the online orientation, log into the Go麻豆社system with your Bronco NetID and password, click on the Elearning icon, and select the Counseling Psychology Masters Students option. You will read program information in a series of modules and complete the related quizzes. You must complete each quiz with a grade of 100% in order to receive credit for completing the orientation. You may review and complete each module as many times as necessary to obtain the 100%, and you may do so in one sitting or come back to it as many times as needed to satisfactorily complete your orientation. After successfully completing all three orientation module quizzes at 100%, you will receive an email notification. Forward that notification to the Counseling Psychology program email address (cecp-cptc@wmich.edu). You will be recorded as having successfully completed the Master鈥檚 Program in Counseling Psychology Orientation and you will be able to file a Program of Study with your advisor.
It is strongly recommended that you complete the master鈥檚 orientation prior to requesting an appointment with your advisor. The orientation may answer many of your questions and reviewing it prior to meeting with your advisor will help you make the most of that appointment.
