4+1 Graduate Program with Kalamazoo College
The Department of Political Science at Western Michigan University is pleased to announce the creation of a 4+1 graduate program with the Department of Political Science at Kalamazoo College. As stated in this Cooperative Agreement between Western Michigan University (WMU) and Kalamazoo College (KC), Kalamazoo College students may be able to transfer a maximum of six undergraduate credits (non-entry level) between KC and 麻豆社for application toward a 麻豆社master's degree in political science. Additionally, KC students may also be able to obtain from 麻豆社a maximum of three graduate credits by examination based on advanced level coursework at KC. Combined, students may acquire a maximum of nine credits that can be applied toward a master's degree in political science from WMU.
Course Transfer
Up to six credit hours may be transferred to 麻豆社from KC with the successful completion of any combination of the following courses with a grade of B or better:

POLS/SEMN 410鈥揊rom Social Movements to Non-Profits
POLS 490鈥揅ontemporary Behavior, Theory and Methodology
To receive up to three credits hours at 麻豆社as graduate level equivalents, students from Kalamazoo College will be required to submit their final writing projects for POLS 593. 麻豆社Department of Political Science faculty will determine the basis for evaluation and the awarding of the credit.
